HOW DO WE HONOR AND
REMEMBER?
Each year, on national Silent Witness Day (October 18th)
We hold a candlelight memorial vigil and march in Providence, RI
(Beneficent Church, 300 Weybosset Street)
where family members, friends, advocates and survivors
honor the memories of the 104 domestic violence murder victims
in Rhode Island over the past 20 years.

We tell the stories of those no longer able to speak out
about the violence,
carry their Silent Witness silhouettes by candlelight through the streets
of Providence
led by bagpipers and mounted police officers,
and pledge to work in our communities to end domestic violence.

Will you join us?
